Welcome! I am an Economist at Banco de Portugal's Economics and Research Department and an Economics PhD Candidate at Nova School of Business Economics. 

My main research interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, monetary economics and public economics, particularly in understanding the distributional consequences of macroeconomic policies and different shocks.

I was a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics for the 2022/2023 academic year and an Academic Visitor at the Bank of England since September 2023. 

I was a PhD Intern at the Bank of England during the summer of 2023. Before starting the PhD, I worked at the European Central Bank's DG Monetary Policy and the Bank of Portugal's Financial Stability Department.
